K-12 Ecosystems
K-12 education is ever-changing, and teachers are often asked to shift their practice overnight. While responsive to the realities and needs on the ground, EiX also takes a measured approach to professional learning with an eye toward sustained change.

Steilacoom Historic SD
When COVID hit, EiX guided Steilacoom into making a quick digital shift. We offered three, one-week inquiry sequences on how to do flipped learning with ongoing support afterward. Planning, class culture, content development, and online instructional delivery were covered in detail.
Tukwila SD
Guiding one of the most diverse school districts in the state of Washington, we supported Tukwila teachers and leaders in developing a vision and implementation strategy for its dual language programming across grade levels.
Manson SD
Nestled in the hills above Lake Chelan is the tiny and mighty district of Manson. We provided a day-long institute with all teachers and administrators in the district covering topics such as: mono vs multilingual perspectives, translanguaging, language frameworks, participation techniques, and scaffolding questions.
Bellingham SD
Bellingham has an ever increasing Latino/a population making it ripe for the development of a dual language program. We guide the district through the implementation process to assure that it meets state guidelines, aligns with best practices, and is sourced in community input.
